Hi, Holt! Welcome to planDisney!
Time to get excited, because you're going to the Walt Disney World Resort in just a few days! It sounds like you might have some last-minute changes in mind, so let's make sure your plans are practically perfect.
As Walt Disney World continues its
phased reopening process, Guests like us need to make Disney Park Pass reservations for the theme park we plan to visit each day. At this time Disney doesn't have a way for us to change an existing theme park reservation, so if you want to visit a different park or go on a different day, you'd need to just cancel it and make a new one. It's easy to do in your
My Disney Experience account by going to "My Plans." Just find the reservation you want to change and follow the prompt to cancel it for everyone in your party. Then, you'll go to the
Disney Park Pass page and make a new reservation for the date you want to visit instead.
Holt, BEFORE YOU CANCEL your reservation for May 29, be sure to check the
Availability Calendar to see if there are openings for the date you were hoping to visit. Right now, the calendar is showing that there are no theme parks with reservations available for the entire week. I'd hate for you to cancel only to find that you're unable to make a new reservation! You can keep an eye on the calendar through the week to see if any more openings become available for Friday, but if at all possible, I think you're much better off keeping your current reservation for
Disney's Animal Kingdom Park on Saturday.
I hope this helps you come up with a plan that works best for your family, Holt. Have a wild time exploring Walt Disney World, and please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
