We have a reservation at the All-Star Movie Resort for August 5, and the official Disney website says there will be areas where rooms are currently being renovated. Could you tell me which areas those are so we can choose our preferred room location? thx

    Howdy Jose!

Welcome to planDisney. Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort is an amazing resort paying tribute to the legends of Disney films such as 101 Dalmatians and Toy Story. The whimsical, larger-than-life decor of the resort really makes you feel like you are part of the movies that we grew up on. Let’s see what we can find out about your upcoming visit.

According to the All-Star Movies webpage, guest rooms will undergo refurbishment through January 2027. I cannot find any information on which buildings will be undergoing renovations during your visit, but in my experience, they always do it in phases, and even then, they do not close the entire building. I would recommend that you go ahead and submit any location requests you have, and once you arrive, you can see about making changes if available.

Before we part ways, I would love to tell you about some of the amazing new food offerings available during your visit. The Disney Parks Blog published a great article about the Disney Celebrates America Foodie Guide. Here you can see pictures and descriptions of some of the yummy new offerings. As a matter of fact, you can even find some of them at the World Premiere Food Court.

Jose, I hope that you and your family have an absolutely magical time visiting Walt Disney World. Please stop by anytime with your questions, and our panelists will be happy to assist you.

    See ya real soon,
    Robert
