In many cases, you can absolutely add another Guest to your reservation at a later date, but there are a few important things to keep in mind.
First, your stateroom must have enough capacity for an additional Guest. If the room is already at its maximum occupancy, Disney won't be able to add another person. Also, if you booked a restricted fare, such as a Guaranteed Stateroom where Disney selects your stateroom assignment and payment is due in full at booking, there may be limitations on making changes or fees associated with adding another Guest.
Timing matters, too. If you make changes after your final payment date, additional fees may apply depending on your reservation. As a general rule,
final payment is due 90 days before sailings of five nights or fewer and 120 days before sailings of six nights or longer.
One thing that often surprises Guests is how pricing works when adding someone later. Unless your reservation falls under a special circumstance, the additional Guest is generally priced using the current cruise fare at the time they're added, not the price that was available when you originally booked. So if you found a fantastic deal when you made your reservation, it's worth keeping in mind that today's pricing could look a little different. If you're currently booked as a solo traveler but paid the standard double-occupancy fare, the rules can vary depending on your specific reservation, so it's always a good idea to verify the details before making plans.

If your reservation is eligible to be modified online, you'll see an option to
update your reservation and add another Guest, provided your stateroom has the capacity.
