What does a reservation actually mean for magic key passes? Does one reservation equal one day ? So for imagine key holders, does that mean you can only reserve two days at a time?

    Welcome to planDisney Keila!

And even better, welcome to the Magic Key Program!! As an Imagine Key holder myself, I love to connect with people like you who are looking forward to enjoying all the perks of membership. My little Simba and I have loved pouncing around the Disneyland Resort with my Imagine Key this year, and that ain't no passin' craze.

Get ready for an exciting 2024! From Valentine's, Lunar New Year, and the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival in the next few weeks to the Haunted Mansion grounds expansion and the upcoming attraction, Tiana's Bayou Adventure, arriving in the Fall. So, let's dive in to make sure you have everything you need to dive in!

So to answer your question, Keila: Yes, Magic Keyholders need to make park reservations for each day they plan to visit. As Imagine Key Holders specifically, our benefits include 2 reservations at a time. Danielle's Pro Tip: Once you've entered a theme park on your reserved day, you're free to secure another reservation for a different day! I've found that this strategy really helps me make the most of my available reservations.

Since I live just a short carpet ride away from the resort, I've often tried my luck with spontaneous same-day visits, and it usually works out, depending on the time of year. But a word of advice: If your plans hinge on having a reservation or meeting up with friends, book one as soon as you know your date!

I often meet up with my princess pals in the late afternoon. We usually grab an early dinner or treats, catch the Magic Happens parade, and soak in the evening vibes. And Keila, after 11am, Magic Key holders can freely soar between the two theme parks for the rest of the day with no one to tell us no, or where to go, or say we're only dreaming.

I hope this clears things up for you, Keila. You're like a shooting star. You've come so far you can't go back to where you used to be. So hop back on that magic carpet and visit me again if you have more questions or want more tips for navigating your Magic Carpet…I mean...Key.

Remember to take it wonder by wonder,
    Danielle
