Hi Linda, welcome home and welcome to planDisney! It looks like your less than a week out from your trip! It’s always at this time when I get as impatient as Simba gets in waiting to be king! I just want to be at my Disney Vacation Club Resort lounging by the pool or looking spiffy in my favorite Donald Duck shirt and hat ready to conquer the World (Walt Disney World, that is). Now, let’s help you find your reservation so you can get where you need to go!
Linda, here’s some step-by-step instructions on how to retrieve a DVC Resort reservation that you’ve made.
- Visit the DVC website and click on “My DVC” on the top-right corner if you’re viewing the website on a desktop computer. Alternatively, if you're on your mobile device, you can find “My DVC” after tapping on the three horizontal line/“sandwich” icon on the top-left corner.
- From there, sign in to the website by providing your e-mail address and password associated with your DVC account.
- Once logged in, select “My Dashboard”, which you will find under the same “My DVC” drop-down you selected to sign in.
- Scroll down the "My Dashboard" page and you will see a section titled “My Vacation Plans” which should show all of your DVC Resort reservations.
- Clicking on the arrow next to the respective reservation will show the Resort, Room Type, and Reservation Number. You will also see options to add a Disney Dining Plan (don't forget the Free Dining Plan for Kids promotion for 2026 also applies to DVC Resort stays!), purchase theme park tickets, check park hours, or add travel insurance.
Alternatively, I receive e-mails from Disney Vacation Club for all reservations that are made and cancelled, or when waitlist requests are fulfilled. If your communication preferences are setup properly, you should also have an e-mail notification of your DVC Resort reservations, complete with reservation number. If you do not see your Resort reservation in your dashboard or have questions about setting up your communication preferences, I suggest
contacting Member Services to further assist in retrieving your reservation.
Once you have your reservation number, I highly recommend linking the reservation in the
My Disney Experience app. This helps for verification purposes if you plan to visit the theme parks for Early Entry or
Extended Evening Hours. Also, if you’ll be checking into a Walt Disney World-based DVC Resort, I highly recommend visiting the International Festival of the Arts at EPCOT! This festival has some of
my favorite snacks (like the Soft Shell Crab Slider and Deconstructed BLT), activities (like the
paint by number mural), and live performances featuring
Broadway performers.
Linda, I hope you find this information helpful and with your trip just around the corner I want to wish you the happiest of trips! If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact me and my fellow panelists ere at planDisney!
Your pal,
Sean
