We have reservartions at Chef Mickey's for breakfast on my mother-in-law's birthday. If I let them know in advance will they do anything special?

Hi there!  Disney does a great job of making folks feel special on their birthday...in fact, I can't think of a better place to celebrate!

I would recommend calling the friendly folks over at Disney Dining to let them know about your mother-in-law's special day!  They will attach this note to your reservation so the folks at Chef Mickey's are aware when you arrive!  If a Cast Member at check-in doesn't mention the celebration, it's always a good idea to let them know!  If she doesn't already have one by then, you can also request a "Birthday Button" at the check-in podium (or at Town Hall in the Magic Kingdom), which she can wear to let everyone know she's the guest of honor!

Last March, my mother celebrated at Chef Mickey's and she was presented with a birthday cupcake after our meal! She was so surprised and it made our day so special! You can also order a 6-inch "Celebrate Today" cake when you arrive at the podium, if you wish to have an extra special birthday surprise delivered to your Chef Mickey's table!

Thanks for the question and please let us know if we can be of further assistance in the planning of your Walt Disney World vacation and this special birthday celebration!
