Have reserv for POR.Me, husband 6'2" 275 lbs, 2 boys 16 and 8. WOndering if full size beds are comfortable. Requested trundle for 8 y.o. since the boys don't sleep together normally. Will hubby and I be comfortable. Stayed AKL last year w/queens.

Hey, Kim!  My sweet husband is a little larger than your husband, and I have to tell you that we can't sleep in a double bed together at WDW. Yet, it may be my imagination, but I thought the beds at POR seemed larger than the ones at the value resorts. They may not be queen-sized, but they do seem larger than double. (In addition, the mattresses are more comfortable at the moderate resorts than the value resorts.)

I would suggest looking at the trundle bed when you arrive to assess whether or not your teenager could sleep there, and you could sleep with your 8-year-old son in a full-sized bed.  I know that my 15-year-old son would sacrifice a little comfort knowing that he could have a bed to himself! Hopefully my experience has helped relieve a little concern. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation!
