    We have an 8:15am reserv. at 1900 Park Fare the day we check-out from Pop Century. We are also renting a car at the Car Care Ctr. for departure. Is it best to rent the car and drive to 1900 PF or use WDW trans. and then rent the car after breakfast?

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Stephanie!

    My family always uses the car rental services provided by Disney Car Care Center. I highly recommend renting your car in advance with one of the two companies located on-site: Alamo-Rent-A-Car or National Car Rental. When you rent in advance, you can select the exact type of vehicle that meets the needs of your family. This is a smaller location, so keep in mind that you may not find the same variety as you would at an airport, that is why I prefer to rent in advance.

    If you are departing right after breakfast, I recommend calling (407) 824-3470 ext. 1 the day before check-out to schedule complimentary shuttle service to take you to Disney Car Care Center to pick up the rental car early in the morning. Afterwards, you can pick up your family at Disney’s Pop Century Resort to go to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa where 1900 Park Fare is located. 

    If you are leaving later in the day, you may also check out of your Guest room, leave your luggage with Bell Services at your Disney Resort hotel, and use Disney transportation to travel to Magic Kingdom Park and go for one last monorail ride to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa - my daughter loves doing this! You can schedule your shuttle service to pick you up at this Disney Resort hotel or even at a theme park, and then you and your family can pick up the car and go back to Disney’s Pop Century to retrieve your luggage from Bell Services when you are ready to leave.
