Hey, Catherine!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The
Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour is one of the best backstage experiences Walt Disney World Resort has to offer. The insights to how the theme parks work combined with Walt Disney's vision for "a place where adults and children can experience together some of the wonders of life, of adventure" is truly remarkable. I promise...no spoilers.
Walt Disney World Resort knows their Guests have tours and early dining reservations in the theme parks and other Resort hotels. There is a complimentary early morning bus to get you there in plenty of time so you don't feel rushed like the White Rabbit. Just ask the Cast Member at the front desk the night before your tour what time the early morning bus for tours and dining reservations will arrive. You may have a few stops along the way so don't be surprised if the bus picks up between 7:00-7:15 a.m.
When your tour at Magic Kingdom Park is before the theme park officially opens there will be Cast Members on the left side of the main gate with signs for dining reservations and tours. Just check in with them and they will look for your name on a list before allowing you inside the park. Make sure to write down your reservation number or enter it an "
Itinerary" item in My Disney Experience.
Disney Dad Tip: This tour gives you a unique opportunity to ask questions and “see” the backstage magic. Your Guides are there for you so ask any question you want about “how they do this and that.”
Catherine, enjoy making many
unforgettable Magical Memories!
