In researching WDW resorts, I've found that only the Deluxe and higher resorts list extra "benefits" such as Magical Express and Extra Magic Hours, but a friend who's been to WDW acts like these are standard for all the resorts. Are these standa

    Hi Michelle:

Staying on Disney property, from a Value Resort to a Deluxe Resort, provides you a myriad of benefits. Your friend is correct, the benefits you mention are available to all guests staying on Disney property.   Guests flying into Orlando International airport and staying at a Disney property (with a few exceptions) receive free airport transportation and bag transfer to and from their Disney hotel (a.k.a. Magical Express).  Also, all Disney guests staying on property can take advantage of  extended theme park hours (a.k.a. Extra Magic Hours).

Additional benefits of staying on Walt Disney Word property, include:
    • Access to purchase the Disney Dining Plan (savings on meals at many restaurants on property) as part of a Magic Your Way Vacation Package,
    • Delivery of Disney World purchases back to your hotel,
    • Disney Transportation around Walt Disney World Resort,
    • A Key to the World Card that acts as your room key and theme park ticket.  It also can be used to charge purchases back to your room account, and
    • Room theming, service, and atmosphere like only Disney can provide

These benefits, including being close to the Disney magic, make staying on property the choice for my family.
