Hi Amanda! Welcome to planDisney!
Non-park days are some of the most fun days that I have while I'm at Disney. My children also enjoy spending time at resorts throughout the property, too. We once enjoyed a drum circle at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge during a mid-day exploration while we were staying at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside. Guests are welcome to enjoy many of the recreational activities offered at Walt Disney World Resort hotels, even if they’re not staying there. The one major exception is pool access, which is reserved for guests registered at that particular resort.
You can stop by resort arcades and recreation rooms, take part in crafts or Movies Under the Stars, or even try a little cane pole fishing at Disney’s Port Orleans – Riverside. Head over to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground for a relaxing horse-drawn carriage ride through the wooded trails, and don't forget about
Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-Along.
You can find Community Halls at various resorts, including Disney's Saratoga Springs, Disney's Old Key West Resort, Disney's Riviera Resort, Disney's Boardwalk Inn, Disney's Bay Lake Tower, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Resort-Kidani Village. There are a ton of games and crafts that you can enjoy currently from 10am-10pm every day.
Amanda, here's to having the best non-park day ever. If you need more help about which community hall is closest to your resort or other ideas for your non-park day, feel free to stop by and visit with us again soon.
Toodles,
Korliss
