Hello, Carmen!
While I hope you can still enjoy a visit to the Disneyland Resort sooner rather than later, yes it is generally possible to reschedule an existing
theme park reservation. To do so, check the
theme park reservation availability calendar for other dates that are still available for your
theme park ticket type. Be sure to keep in mind any blockout dates your ticket may have. And a park ticket may only be used to book a new reservation up until its expiration date. For example, the current
Southern California resident weekday ticket offer is valid on available weekdays until May 25, 2023.
After choosing a day you wish to visit, visit the "
My Theme Park Reservations" page to cancel your existing park reservation. Your theme park ticket will remain linked to your account. Then, return to the "
My Theme Park Reservations" page to book another date to visit The Happiest Place on Earth using your existing ticket.
Note that the latest you can cancel an existing theme park reservation is 11:59 PM the night before the reservation. But if you don’t happen to get a chance to cancel before then, no worries. You will be able to book a new reservation after 12:00 AM the day after your original reservation. But what if you don’t have another available date in your schedule before your ticket expires? If a ticket is wholly unused, it will retain its value even after its expiration date. Then, it can be upgraded to a new ticket of equal or greater value.
Now, about that rainy day at the Disneyland Resort. I understand it isn’t necessarily something most of us would look forward to. But I must admit that a rainy day that The Happiest Place on Earth is better than the sunniest day just about anywhere else. With a poncho and some water-friendly shoes, you’ll be ready for a day of magic. I like that attraction wait times are often shorter than usual on a rainy day. My family and I also love to enjoy fun indoor experiences such as
The Disneyland Story presenting Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln and
Animation Academy.
I hope you have a magical time, Carmen!
