Can I reschedule my park tickets, park reservation and dining reservations if I need to cancel my trip last minute?

    Welcome to planDisney, Stephanie.

Remy from Ratatouille once said that "the only thing predictable about life is its unpredictability." Our plans in this world are always subject to change. Thankfully, it's pretty simple to reschedule your Theme Park tickets, Theme Park reservations, and dining reservations if you ever have a last-minute trip cancelation.

There are two simple ways to change your tickets:

Using Your My Disney Experience App
Open up your app and click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner and select "Tickets and Passes. Your ticket should appear with the option to modify the date of your visit.

    Using Your Browser
Sign in to your My Disney Experience account. Go to your "My Plans" page and scroll down to the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section. Next,  you'll need to click on "Tickets & Memory Maker" to view your ticket. Once you click on the ticket, you should see an option to change the date of your visit.

Stephanie, bear in mind that you may have to pay for any difference in the ticket price (some days are more expensive to visit than others). I'd also encourage you to check the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar beforehand to make sure there's availability for your new trip dates before changing the dates on your tickets.

Once reschedule your Theme Park tickets, you can then make your new Theme Park reservations.

If you run into any problems using the above methods, then you can always call the "Existing Tickets" team. A friendly Cast Member will wave their magic wand and figure out how to help you.

To cancel a dining reservation, simply sign in to your My Disney Experience account, click on "My Plans," and scroll down to "Dining." You should see your reservation there, with an option to cancel. If you cancel after the designated cancellation period, or simply don't show up, then there will be a cancelation fee per person on the reservation. The cancelation policy is provided at the time of your booking and in your email confirmation. You can then make new dining reservations (up to 60 days in advance of your rescheduled trip).

I hope that's helpful, Stephanie. I'll be wishing upon a star that you won't have to cancel your plans. I'm sure you'll have an enchanting trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth. Check out all there is to see and experience for the 50th Anniversary Celebration.

    See ya real soon!
