If I reschedule my park tickets will I get charged again for new tickets or are my existing ones still good

Hey there, Mary! We are so happy to see that you've stopped by planDisney to ask us a question.

I'm happy to share with you that if you have to cancel your theme park reservations nothing else changes. Your tickets remain valid and you will be able to book new reservations whenever you are ready for any available date that falls into the same tier of ticket that you have purchased.

Let me walk you through the steps. Head to the Disneyland website and log into your account. Then you would hover over "My Disneyland" and click on "Ticket and Reservation Details". On this page, click "Make Park Reservations". You will be directed to a new page and there you will see your upcoming park reservations and you can cancel them from here. If you are rebooking, this is the page where you would select "Book Theme Park Reservation" and follow the steps to book your new reservations.

Did you hear that character interactions are transitioning back to the good old days? As early as April 18, character interactions will start to change and we finally will be able to get a hug from our favorite pals. I know so many people have been waiting to get a squeeze or autograph when they are in the parks and I'm so happy to hear it's finally happening.

Mary, I hope this is the information you were looking for. Please come back and see us again if you have any other questions while you wait for the perfect time to work out to visit Disneyland Resort. You've got a friend in us!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
