We had to reschedule our Magical Disney trip to January. We arrive on 1/2/21. Will the gingerbread house still be up in the Grande Floridian? How long do the park decorations and Christmas Tree trail @Disney Springs stay up?

Welcome back to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jennifer!

A visit to Walt Disney World is always magical, but you may just catch a glimpse of some of the remaining holiday sparkle on your early January arrival. Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort are simply breathtaking!

The Gingerbread House at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is one of my absolute favorite holiday sights, and while last year's beauty officially opened on November 13, I snuck a sneak peak a few days earlier. Just gorgeous! The official closure date for the display is typically January 1, but you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of it upon arrival. For an inside scoop on the incredible talent and teamwork it takes to build such a gorgeous creation, take a look at the making of the Disney's Grand Floridian 20th Anniversary Gingerbread House in this Disney Parks Blog video. (Warning: you'll be craving gingerbread deliciousness about 5 seconds in.)

Holidays at Disney Springs are also super-festive, and the Christmas Tree Trail is a fan favorite! This holiday event typically runs through the first week of January, so you should be able to experience the beauty in person on your visit.

In 2019, Disney Parks Blog featured a post on all of the Magical Holiday Happenings at Walt Disney World, so get into the holiday spirit and take a look.

As you plan your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, Jennifer, send us more questions. We love to help!
