Are they going to reschedule the garden festival?

    Hi Lynn!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you so much for reaching out to us hEAR, and asking this great question!

I also love the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, and I too am bummed that the unprecedented events of the world right now have put so many plans on pause. Like you, I really do hope that some springtime events that had already started will have their schedules extended. While nothing official has been announced or even told to us, I'm going to be like Peter Pan and 'think happy thoughts' that this pixie dusted idea comes to fruition. You're more than welcome to ask us again if we know more in a few weeks, we'd certainly love to see you again. Or, one of the best sources for news straight from Mickey's mouth is the Disney Parks Blog. You can visit this website every day or you can 'like' and 'follow' them across all major social media channels to see stories and updates as they happen. Walt Disney World Resort even has its own facebook, instagram and twitter accounts - you'll know it's the real deal by the blue check mark. The official Walt Disney World Resort website has a dedicated section to all kinds of questions and answers during this temporary closure. And just in case more information is sent out either via email or snail mail, make sure that your contact info is up to date in your My Disney Experience profile.

One creative idea to make any time of year a tiny bit like the Flower & Garden Festival is to book the Behind the Seeds Tour, which is an hour-long walking tour of The Land pavilion that takes you on an up-close journey through the various greenhouses, biodomes, gardens and hatcheries featured in the Living with the Land attraction. And did you know, a lot of the ingredients featured in the dishes served up at Sunshine Seasons come from this attraction?

I'm sorry that I couldn't provide a better, more definitive answer, Lynn. But I do hope that you come back to see us soon, either for more flower and garden chat or to help plan your future Disney Days. We're All Ears!
