Hi there, Debra, and welcome to planDisney! You’ve certainly come to the right place for information on how to postpone your Walt Disney World vacation from this year to the next. These are definitely unprecedented times, and you are certainly not the only person I’ve connected with recently that is needing to make changes to upcoming vacation plans. Walt Disney World understands that these changes are unavoidable for many. As such, it is committed to helping Guests do what it takes to ensure a safe, enjoyable vacation for themselves and their loved ones.
At this time, Disney-imposed cancellation fees are waived for stays with arrivals up to December 31, 2020. These details and other information regarding the phased reopening of the Disney Parks can be found on the
Experience Updates pages. Normally,
Disney Vacation Packages can be cancelled without a penalty until 30 days before the start of your vacation. You can find the standard cancellation policies outlined on the
Terms and Conditions page. The best way to make these changes is by contacting the
Walt Disney World reservation line at your earliest convenience. They may even be able to help you rebook your trip within the same call!
Debra, did you know that you will need a
Disney Park Pass reservation for each day you wish to visit the Disney Parks? You can see the availability for the coming year right online before deciding when you will take your next magical Disney vacation. I hope that this information helps you make magical plans for your family on your timeline. Please know that we are always here for you and happy to answer any questions you may have about your Disney wishes and dreams!
See ya real soon!
