How to reschedule Disney world visit?

Hey Howdy Hey Sasha and welcome to planDisney!

I am so sorry to hear that you might need to reschedule your trip to Walt Disney World Resort. You are able to change many things for your reservation through your My Disney Experience account but sometimes this will depend on how close you are to your date of travel. Nevertheless, we will start with your My Disney Experience account for the changes.

Once you log onto your My Disney Experience account, scroll down to the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section. You should see your reservation with room and theme park reservations. On the far right, you should see a blue hyperlink stating "change/modify reservation". If you click on that, you should be redirected to the specifics of your reservation where you can look at moving your trip to different dates and will take care of your room reservation.

As long as that process works out for your room reservation change, changing your tickets may require a slightly different process. Still from your My Disney Experience account, under the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section, you should see the heading "Tickets & Memory Maker" which you will click on. There you should see all of the tickets that are linked to your account and the members of your party they are assigned to. You should see after each ticket the wording "change ticket" as a blue hyperlink which you will click on. After you do, you may be given several options but look for the one to "change dates". Update your tickets to the new dates and you should be set. Make sure you also cancel and rebook your Theme Park Reservations during this process as well.

A word of caution as you prepare to go through these steps, rooms and tickets are priced for specific dates and seasons and if you are going to change the dates, you may see an increase in the price depending on when you change the dates to. You will be responsible for this change but will be notified of the change before you click to confirm. Based on the terms and conditions of vacation packages, any change made less than 30 days from your date of travel will also come with a $50.00 change fee.

For many reasons, you may come across not being able to make it passed the first step and wording in that area might give you a phone number to call in order to make changes to your vacation. If you see a phone number, you will have to call Disney to have a Cast Member help you through this process. You are also more than welcome to call Disney as well if you feel that you would be more comfortable with a Cast Member's help through this process.

I hope this information was helpful and I hope for a smooth process to get your trip rebooked. Please stop by at any time if you have any further questions, we would be happy to help.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Nick
