Kim:
When our family went to the
Spirit of Aloha Dinner last year, we loved it: the food, the dances, everything but the chilly weather. (
Hint: Pay attention to the weather forecast--which we did not--and take a light jacket if you aren't vacationing during summer, especially if you're attending the last show of the night, as you're sitting outdoors.)
I've been to several luas in Hawaii and found the one at Disney similar in regard to the dances but, thankfully, more "Americanized" in regard to the food. For the money, it's as authentic as you'll get east of the Mississippi, and we found it worth the price.
As long as you cancel with 48 hours notice, you will be able to get a refund of your pre-payment for the show and should have no cancellation penalty. Hopefully, you won't have to use this option.
Wishing y'all a magical vacation!
Whitney
