We have res for 1900 at 655pm on 7/3 & would love to see MK fireworks at 9pm. Is there enough time to get from 1900 to MK? This is my birthday so I am looking to do something special w/ my DDs and DH.

    Hi Connie!

Wow, that sounds like an awesome Birthday Celebration plan! I think that your plan to watch Wishes in the Magic Kingdom after eating dinner at 1900 Park Fare in in the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa will work out just fine  The Magic Kingdom is only one stop from the Grand Floridian Resort on the Resort Monorail so it will be really quick and easy to get to the Magic Kingdom after your dinner.  Your dinner should take about an hour to an hour and a half because it is a buffet which can typically be quicker than a regular table service restaurant because you serve yourself once you are seated.  I would estimate that you will be done with your 1900 Park Fare dinner between 8:00 pm and 8:30 pm and if you get on the Resort Monorail you should be able to get into the Magic Kingdom with about 10 to 15 minutes to spare before Wishes.  I would recommend watching Wishes right from on Main Street USA because it will be really crowded by Cinderella Castle especially if you are arriving with only a few minutes to spare before Wishes is scheduled to begin.  The second floor of the Walt Disney World Railroad Station provides some great views of Wishes too.  Also do not forget to get a Birthday Button and wear it on your Birthday!

I hope that your Birthday Celebration at Walt Disney World is truly magical!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
