Hi, Christy! Great job getting Advance Dining Reservations! You chose two fun dining experiences.
Chef Mickey's, located at the Contemporary Resort is hosted by the big guy himself, Mickey Mouse. He is joined by Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald Duck. If you are going here for dinner, you will find a really delicious dessert table to enjoy at the end of your meal. My kids love watching the monorail as it zooms right through the middle of the resort!
Crystal Palace is inside the Magic Kingdom. Theme park admission is required to dine at this restaurant. Joining you will be Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet. There is always a wide selection on the buffet here and it is a nice place to relax during a busy day in the park. When you enter the restaurant, look up at the ceiling - it is quite beautiful!
Both are great places to dine; both are buffets. I think the food selection is better at Crystal Palace, but other than that, it is what characters are more important to you. (My family always visits BOTH locations every vacation!) Make sure to bring your autograph books and cameras as the characters will circulate and come right to your table. Remember that the characters throughout the parks and restaurants are subject to change. (A few visits ago, Minnie was unable to attend our dinner as she was out shopping, but usually we get the whole gang!)
Have a magical vacation and have fun meeting all your Disney pals!
