Hi, there!
Jocelyn, I am so, so excited about your upcoming vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort. You are sure to have a magical first visit!
I totally understand your concern. Convenient access to and from the theme parks is a must when traveling with little ones who desperately need a nap or some down time. Although
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is a bit far from Magic Kingdom Park, I don't think it's a deal breaker. The bus trip to and from Magic Kingdom Park and your Resort hotel takes about 20 minutes. My family enjoyed a fabulous stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge a few years ago when my little guys were just 4 and 6-years old. Wiggly and impatient as they were, they had no trouble with the travel time it took to get to any of the four theme parks or Disney Springs. From one mom to another, I absolutely recommend keeping your reservation at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. This Resort hotel and its neighbor, Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge are just stunning with beautiful architecture, unique African artifacts, and of course, the incredible views of the savannas! The recreational offerings at these resorts are second to none. Be sure to grab an activities schedule when you arrive. You simply must try Night Vision Animal Viewing during your visit; so cool!
Speaking of must-try, I suggest dining at
Sanaa during your stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. This is my family's absolute favorite restaurant at the Walt Disney World Resort!
Thanks for stopping by, Jocelyn. Please let me know if you have any other questions about traveling with
little ones!
