Hi there, Joslyn!
Thanks so much for visiting planDisney! As a fellow DAS user, I’d be happy to help with your question.
The
Disability Access Service (DAS) program was a game-changer for my family! Navigating everyday life already comes with its challenges. The Disneyland Resort’s commitment to ensuring that the parks are an inclusive environment for all is the reason why my family and I visit as much as we possibly can. It just feels good to feel seen and supported!
DAS is typically valid for the length of the park ticket or up to one year, whichever is shorter. Therefore, you must re-register each time you visit the park. There are
two ways to register:
- Live video chat
- On-site at the Accessibility Services Kiosk (located in the Esplanade between Disneyland and Disney California Adventure)
To keep stress levels lower, I recommend that you register for DAS before your arrival. You have the option to speak with a Cast Member via live video chat 60 days before your park visit.
If you forget to register beforehand, please do not worry! During one of our visits, I forgot to register ahead of time, and the line at the Accessibility Services Kiosk was pretty long. Initially, I began to panic, but I decided to try the live video chat while in the Esplanade and was able to speak with a Cast Member who graciously assisted us!
Bonus Tip: Download and review the
Accessibility Planning Guide and Recommendations and
Sensory Experience Details to help you prepare for your visit based on your family’s unique needs.
Joslyn, I hope this helps and that you and your family have the most magical time during your upcoming vacation!
Sending you faith, trust, and pixie dust,
Karmeen
