What are the requirements for using a wagon in Disneyland instead of stroller?

Hey, Janet and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited for your trip to the "Happiest Place on Earth" in September when the weather is cooling down and the fall holiday decorations are out in spook-tacular fashion.

Recently, Disney updated the Park Rules and one of the changes is the stroller/wagon policy. As of May 1, 2019, any wagon, whether pushed or pulled, is no longer allowed. The purpose is to ease congestion as Guests move through the park. Also, strollers must be no larger than 31″ (79cm) wide and 52″ (132cm) long. To help Guests ensure that their strollers are the right size Disney has painted guides on the ground near security points and at the parking garages. We have always found an umbrella stroller to be the most nimble and best option to push our little Mouseketeers around collecting pixie-dust. Of course, Mickey and the gang have strollers on site for you to rent if you want to travel light.

Disney Dad Tip: The best-themed area during Halloween time at Disneyland Resort is Radiator "Screams" where Haul-O-Ween is delivering ghoulish delights. Snap some spectacular pictures of this not-so-scary sleepy town.

Janet, enjoy making many Magical Memories.
