Welcome back to planDisney, Pam! Thanks for sailing our way. I'm glad you are inquiring about the required travel documentation for your cruise. While Scar was the villain in The Lion King, he was not wrong when he shared the message to "Be Prepared!" So let's make sure you are ready for your sailing. For an itinerary to The Bahamas to and from Fort Lauderdale (this is called a closed-loop or round-trip cruise), U.S. Citizens can present the following travel documents: - Original valid U.S. Passport- Original valid U.S. Passport Card- Original valid Trusted Traveler Card (NEXUS, FAST)OR-Original or copy of their state-issued birth certificate AND Government-issued photo ID-Original Certificate of Naturalization issued by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services AND Government-issued photo ID-Original Consular Report of Birth Abroad issued by the Department of State AND Government-issued photo IDGuests that are children 15 years of age and younger are required to present one of the above-listed documents but are not required to present a Government-issued photo ID. Please keep in mind that these guidelines are based on government regulations, which are subject to change at any time. When you are 30 days from your sailing, you can begin the online check-in process using the Navigator app or the Disney Cruise Line website. You will need to provide a photo of your travel documentation as part of this process. Your check-in will show a "pending review" status until it has been reviewed and approved by Disney Cruise Line. You will also need to present your travel documentation in person at the port, so please be sure to keep it in your carry-on luggage. I hope that clears up any questions you may have and that you are prepared for smooth sailing ahead. Cruise back to planDisney any time. We'd love to assist again. Happy Planning, Adrianna
