Hi Marsha, welcome to planDisney!
You know your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is getting close when you start envisioning the specifics of your day. Where will I put my Minnie ears when I experience
TRON Lightcycle / Run?
In the complimentary locker provided. Where can I find shade on Main Street, U.S.A., for viewing the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade?
The shady side of Main Street, U.S.A., is to the left as you're looking at Cinderella Castle. Where in Magic Kingdom Park can I find a DOLE Whip?
Aloha Isle. When you can practically taste said DOLE Whip, it's time to pack your suitcase!
Each Guest requires a method of entry (Disney Band, admission card, or Disney MagicMobile pass) for theme park entry. This method of entry is also scanned at Lightning Lane entrances, but not at standby queue entrances. In deciding whether or not
Disney Bands make sense for your children,
personal experience tells me you should consider their age and experience with wrist accessories. If you decide to purchase Disney Bands, make sure they are linked to a My Disney Experience account, paired to a mobile device, and fully charged before use. If you decide not to purchase Disney Bands, admission cards housed in lanyards or badge holders are an option that gives your children similar independence. Alternately,
Disney MagicMobile passes can easily be scrolled through on one mobile device, as needed.
You can use multiple methods of entry in one trip, or even one day, Marsha. My son recently used his Disney Band, admission card, and Disney MagicMobile pass (on my phone) on one Magic Kingdom Park day. Variety is the spice of life and magic.
As your trip excitement crescendoes, please return to planDisney with any other trip-planning questions.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
