What is required for a deposit on a moderate resort reservation?

Hi Cheryl! Sounds like you are planning a trip to the most magical place on earth!

For a room only reservation at any Walt Disney World Resort, your deposit is the cost of your first night's stay. You may cancel up to five days in advance and receive a refund. For vacation packages, a $200 dollar deposit is required and you may cancel up to 30 days in advance.

Moderate resorts are a fantastic option; they offer touches of luxury at a more budget friendly price. My favorite is Disney's Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter. The smallest of the moderates, this hotel feels intimate and has a festive Mardi Gras atmosphere. In this tucked away, green oasis, you won't believe you are just a few miles from the world's most popular theme park. The foam green sea serpent slide at the Doubloon Lagoon pool is so tempting every generation will want to plummet down its giant tongue. In walking distance, you have access to all the amenities of the larger, sister hotel, Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside. And the beignets are fabulous!

Wishing you a wonderful visit to Mickey!
