how much is required to book a reservation

Ahoy there, Sibyl. Welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for taking the time to sail by with your question for us. I’m delighted to see you’re planning a magical sailing with Disney Cruise Line next summer. Like Moana, the sea always calls me, and it looks like it’s calling you and your family too!

After you have narrowed down your choices for your cruise and you’re ready to book, you’ll just need to put down 10% of the total fare as deposit to confirm your reservation. Please note that this is subject to change; for example, this past summer Disney Cruise Line reduced the required payment of deposit from 20% to 10%.

Sibyl, I’m happy to report that there’s another special offer happening. If you book before January 18, 2026, select sailings between March 2026 and May 2027 require only 50% of deposit. This is available on all ships except the Disney Adventure. The remaining balance will be due at the time of final payment. I just took a peek on the Disney Cruise Line website and there are many sailings to choose from. Hopefully you’ll be able to find one that coincides with your travel schedule so you can take advantage of this.

As you continue to plan your upcoming cruise, please don’t hesitate to visit us on planDisney again!

Hope to “SEA” ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
