What is required to attend Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween Party? Do you need just the pass for the party? Or do I need the magic your way pass also?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel SoniaLynn ~

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) is my favorite special event at the Magic Kingdom!

MNSSHP is a special event that is held on select evenings from 7 p.m. - midnight and requires a MNSSHP special event ticket. On the evenings that MNSSHP is held, the Magic Kingdom closes early and only those Guests with the special event tickets are allowed to enter or remain in the park once MNSSHP begins at 7 p.m.

If you are only going to MNSSHP, you will only need a special event ticket for MNSSHP. When Guests enter the Magic Kingdom for MNSSHP, they are given a wristband which easily indicates to Cast Members that they have purchased a MNSSHP event ticket. Cast Members are stationed throughout the park and will ask Guests to show their wristbands.

If you are only going to the Magic Kingdom during the day up until MNSSHP begins at 7 p.m., you will only need a regular admission ticket to enter.

If you are planning to go to the Magic Kingdom during the day and attend MNSSHP that evening, you will need a regular admission ticket during the day and a special event ticket for that evening.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
