Hi there, Philip, and welcome to planDisney!
Your great adventure is just around the river bend. Your little one, no matter their age, is going to have an amazing time at
Walt Disney World Resort. I’ve taken my boys to the Disney Parks since they were infants, and it just keeps getting better and better.
I have fantastic news for you, Philip: The littlest Mouseketeers, aged 2 years old and under, do not need a valid admission ticket to the Walt Disney World theme parks and water parks. They are considered the Guests of Mickey and need no proof of age upon entry. Cast Members at the Mickey-shaped entry points rarely question parents about the ages of their children, but if you want to bring proof just in case, bring what you see fit. Keep in mind that any Guests older than 2 years old need a valid form of admission (like a theme park ticket or annual pass).
AN EXTRA GEM: When my little ones were tiny tots, I loved taking advantage of the perk that they could eat for free at All-You-Care-To-Enjoy restaurants around property. Yep! Anyone under the age of 3 can have their own plates of yummy food and treats when dining at restaurants like 1900 Park Fare and ‘Ohana. When making an
advance dining reservation, still include them in your total Guest count.
Philip, I hope that you have the Most Magical holiday with your loved ones. Any of the panelists here at planDisney will be more than happy to answer additional questions, so
revisit us at any time. See you real soon!
Magic always,
LeAndra
