Hello Arshana,
Welcome back to planDisney! It's so very lovely to see you here once again.
Just like you, I also visit the magic of Walt Disney World Resort from across the pond in the United Kingdom! Therefore, as the current
UK-based Panelist here at planDisney, I'm able to totally relate to your enquiry concerning registration for the
Disability Access Service (DAS).Arshana, I have some supercalifragilisticexpialidocious news to share with you! Guests are more than welcome to register for the Disability Access Service (DAS) upon arrival at Walt Disney World Resort.
Upon entering your very first Disney Theme Park, simply take a few moments to drop by
Guest Relations where helpful Cast Members will be available to discuss your particular disability needs, and if appropriate, be able to provide registration for the Disability Access Service (DAS).
It's so good to know that any Disability Access Service (DAS) which may be issued, will be good for your entire holiday, or at least for up to a whole 60 days!
Arshana, you'll discover a plethora of accommodations for
Guests living with disabilities at Walt Disney World Resort. And, I'm more than happy to say that in my own experience of holidaying at the most magical place on earth with extended family members who live with hidden, or
cognitive disabilities, my family found that Cast Members, and indeed Disney as a whole, truly did accommodate the individual needs of our loved one.
This thoughtfulness and understanding of hidden disabilities really did enable our whole family to enjoy a magical time - together!
I hope that I've been able to provide a little reassurance and guidance for you today Arshana. As your bibbidi-bobbidi-beautiful holiday is right around the river bend in just a few days time, all that remains is for me to wish you a very jolly holiday at Walt Disney World Resort!
Have a great Disney day ~
Jane
