I will require a DAS pass for my daughter. I have Disney tickets already and was hoping to book onto rides as soon as I can. Can I do this if I need to wait until I'm in Florida to apply for a DAS? I'm from UK. Also how do I book rides in advance?

    Hi Laura,

Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! I know there are many factors when planning an international vacation, and it is great that you are trying to prepare for everything in advance.

Disability Access Service (DAS) is a service provided by Disney for those who cannot wait in queues for extended periods due to disability. DAS Advance allows Guests to register for DAS through a live chat between 2 and 30 days before their next visit, as well as book two DAS Advance selections for each day of their visit.  Currently, DAS Advance registration is not available to Guests through the international Walt Disney World websites. If you are arriving in the United States more than two days before your visit to Walt Disney World Resort, you may try to pre-register through the website at that time.

If you are not able to pre-register online, you can still register in person once you arrive to the theme parks! Visit any Guest Relations location within the theme parks and register with a Cast Member. Your daughter will need to be present when you register. After your daughter is registered, you can book your DAS return times through the My Disney Experience mobile app

When you visit this summer, you can participate in the Disney100 celebration, commemorating 100 years of The Walt Disney Company creating magic. Keep an eye out for the Disney100 backdrops in all four theme parks, and the characters in their platinum outfits. There will also be themed treats throughout Walt Disney World, like cakes, popcorn buckets, and souvenir cups. And of course, you need to check out the Disney100 Platinum Celebration Collection of merchandise. Follow the Disney Parks Blog for any future announcements leading up to your visit.

I hope this helped you prepare for your upcoming vacation, Laura. I know you’ll have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any future planning questions, please visit me again at planDisney!
