Hiya, Ashwin!
Thanks so much for bringing your question to planDisney. While anytime is a great time to visit Walt Disney World Resort, I think there's something
super special about visiting during the holidays. With beautiful decorations, incredible gingerbread displays, and special holiday offerings, it feels like there's an extra sprinkle of pixie dust everywhere you turn. I'm excited to hear that you'll be experiencing the magic of the holiday season at Walt Disney World this year –– I hope you love it as much as I do!
While the holidays are a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World Resort, they can also be
very busy –– especially during the week of Thanksgiving and Christmas. If you're looking for a way to cut down on wait times for your favorite attractions during your visit, scheduling a
private VIP Tour is the perfect way to maximize your fun. VIP Tours can be
booked up to 60 days in advance by calling (407) 560-4033. Just keep in mind that in addition to the cost of the VIP Tour, each member of your party will need valid theme park admission –– including the Park Hopper Option, if you're planning to visit more than one park –– which isn't included in your tour cost. Also, since Thanksgiving is a very popular week for VIP Tour services, you'll definitely want to set a reminder in your calendar to call right when your booking window opens for the best chance of securing a reservation.
If you're looking to add a little holiday cheer to your visit, in addition to your VIP Tour, you can head over the
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to see this year's annual gingerbread house. Each year, a crew of dedicated Cast Members creates a life-sized gingerbread house from scratch, right in the hotel lobby. In addition to viewing this beautiful display, you'll also be able to purchase gingerbread treats, including the real shingles used in the house's construction. This is one of my favorite holiday traditions at Walt Disney World Resort –– be sure to check it out!
Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, Ashwin. I hope this helped to answer your question, but if you think of something new as your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit approaches, feel free to stop by again –– we're always here to lend a helping hand!
Happy Planning,
Amy
