Hi there, Megan!
A warm welcome to planDisney and thank you for bringing us your question about your
Disneyland Resort theme park tickets. It sounds like you're currently enjoying a magical visit to The Happiest Place on Earth - how exciting! I hope you're having an unforgettable time and enjoying the momentous
Disney100 Celebration at Disneyland Resort. Have you had the chance to check out World of Color - ONE or Wondrous Journeys yet?
Megan, I'm sorry to hear that one member of your group was unable to make the trip. Even though one person was unable to use their Disneyland Resort
theme park ticket during this visit, I'm happy to let you know that their ticket still contains "pixie dust" that can be used during a future trip, even if the ticket expires! Megan, theme park tickets are nonrefundable. However, according to the Disneyland Resort
eTicket Terms and Conditions, the amount paid for a wholly unused, expired theme park ticket can be applied toward the purchase of a new, unexpired ticket at the current price. The ticket owner would just be responsible for any difference in price between the amount originally paid for the expired ticket and the cost of the new ticket. To complete this transaction, I recommend that the ticket owner
contact the Disneyland Resort. Alternatively, the ticket could be reassigned to another individual if it is wholly unused and unexpired. Perhaps you'd enjoy an extra day at
Disneyland Park or
Disney California Adventure Park, Megan? To do this, have the ticket owner reach out to Cast Members at the Disneyland Resort by phone for assistance.
I'm wishing you an enchanting visit filled with magical memories, Megan! I hope that your entire party is able to make the trip next time. The only thing better than spending time at The Happiest Place on Earth is experiencing it with friends and family! I hope you're able to catch the fan-favorite
"Magic Happens" Parade and check out the newly-reopened
Mickey's Toontown during your visit. Be sure to check the
Entertainment Schedule for details on daily happenings in the theme parks! If you have any additional questions, I encourage you to stop back by planDisney again anytime - we're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
