We have requested a pack n play for our 2 year old on our cruise. Can you tell me if that will include a sheet or do I need to pack one? Also, I saw the alcohol policy has recently changed. Are we still able to bring soda/ energy drinks in our carryons?

Hi there, Shelby! Welcome to planDisney!

A Disney cruise with a baby is such an easy family vacation! Seriously, the first time I ever sailed on a Disney cruise with my baby and toddler, I was blown away by how easy it was, especially because Disney Cruise Line provides so many things to make our vacation easier. I would be happy to answer your question regarding the Pack N’ Play and the beverages you’d like to bring on board.

You’ll be happy to know that you do not have to pack sheets for your 2-year-old's Pack N’ Play, as clean sheets will be provided for you. When your awesome Stateroom Host sets up the Pack n Play in the evening (or during the day, if, like me, you request that it be set up for naptime), they will also place clean sheets on it. Your Stateroom Host will set it up and take it down every day for you, so you don’t have to worry about that.

Speaking of packing, you’ll also be happy to know that you’re able to bring soda and energy drinks on board your cruise. Similar to the alcohol policy, these beverages must also be factory sealed and carried on by you in your carry-on luggage or in your hand. What is different from the alcohol policy, however, is that there isn’t a limit on the number of non-alcoholic beverages you can carry on board. You are able to carry as many as you’re able to fit into your carry-on luggage, but your luggage cannot exceed the size of 9 x 14 x 22 inches.

I also want to remind you about all the incredible amenities that are provided for babies on your Disney cruise. In addition to a Pack N’ Play, you can request bottle warmers, diaper genies, a high chair for dinner, and more! Plus, there’s even a secure nursery on board called “It’s a small world” nursery! if you need some adult time, or want to play with your child during Open House hours. All of these amenities truly made Disney Cruise Line our most worry-free family vacation when my kiddos were babies and toddlers, and this reliability is part of the reason we love it so much as our kids have grown!

Shelby, I hope that I was able to clarify these policies for you and help set your mind at ease for a worry-free family vacation ahead! You’re going to make so many wonderful memories together! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any other questions.
