I have requested the Disney's Vacation planning DVD twice in the past 8 weeks and still no sign of it. I was wondering if this time frame was normal. I feel like I read that it took around 2-3 weeks to receive. Thanks!

    Hi Shelby!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I'm sorry to read that you have had a hard time getting a free planning DVD.  Typically it only takes about 4 weeks once I place an order for one for it to arrive at my house; that was the same for this year's planning DVD.  If it has been longer than 4 or 5 weeks then I would definitely place an order for another one.  If you need a good tour book to hold you over while you wait, I love "The Complete Walt Disney World" by Julie and Mike Neal, "PassPorter's Walt Disney World" by Jennifer and Dave Marx, and "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World" co-authored by Len Testa.  The last book has almost everything you could ever want to know about Walt Disney World; the first two books are really good for first time visitors who want a lot of tips and information but don't want to be overwhelmed.  I get all three books every year and love them all!

Good luck and please write back with more questions!
