Can I request a toaster for my Grand Floridian room?

Hey there, Sondra. Welcome to planDisney

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is just that - Grand. I recently stayed there about a month ago and had such a lovely time. The rooms are beautifully decorated and had plenty of space for my family.

Inside each room, you'll find a coffee maker with all of the accompaniments and a small refrigerator for you to use during your stay. Due to safety reasons, toasters are not permitted in the rooms of Walt Disney World Resort hotels. However, you will find a few toasters for you to use in the food court area of the resort. Gasparilla Island Grill is open every day from about 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m. and I feel like it is pretty centrally located to most rooms on property. Anytime this area is open, you are welcome to head on in and use the toasters free of charge. You'll also find a microwave in this area for your convenience as well.

Gasparilla Island Grill also serves delicious food all day long. Some of my favorite menu items are, of course, Mickey waffles in the morning and then I love the chicken and brie sandwich that is on the lunch and dinner menus. If you get a chance to dine there, I highly recommend it.

I hope this helps with your planning, Sondra. If you have any other questions about this, or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help!

    Have a great week!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
