Disney Skyliner resort is pretty special. Some of us consider the Skyliner to be an attraction in and of itself! You're in for a treat staying here and having it right in your backyard.
For your request, while it is likely that cast members would try to place you as close to the Skyliner station near Disney's Riviera Resort as possible, I would advise that you take a look at the
Caribbean Beach Resort map and request the specific building(s) you'd prefer to stay in based on Riviera Skyliner station proximity. Prior to arrival, guests can make certain room requests through the My Disney Experience app when they utilize the online check-in feature. To do this, open your My Disney Experience App, tap the menu icon in the lower right corner (☰). Tap My Plans, then scroll down to My Resort Hotel and tap Check In Now!
The app will have a few pre-selected options for you to choose from for special requests. If none of these include making a specific building request, then
calling the resort as you mentioned would be your best bet. Specific building numbers will help tell cast members exactly where you prefer to stay during your trip, and they would be happy to capture your request over the phone.
Chelsea, please keep in mind that all requests are not guaranteed. Cast members at the resort will do their best to make your request happen, but sometimes it isn't possible. While we're thinking about planning your trip, be sure to check out the resort's
recreational opportunities. You won't want to miss the activities schedule, Movies Under the Stars, and the campfire activities. They add so much fun to your time at the resort - my family and I love to plan a resort day around these activities.
