How can I request a server from a past cruise for my next cruise?

Ahoy there Benny and welcome to planDisney!

It looks to me like you're already a seasoned sailor yourself, and it'll be great to have you back on board Disney Cruise Line as a Castaway Club member on your sailing next year! Now as someone who has lived and worked at Sea for over a decade, I'm happy to provide you with a bit of nautical knowledge and insight onto your chances of having the same server assigned to you on your upcoming voyage:

    • Your best bet at the current time is to contact a Disney Cruise Line representative directly over the phone with your booking details and request them to make a note on your reservation. If you're comfortable sharing your reservation details online, a helpful representative on the Disney Cruise Line website Chat function can also put in a note.
    • Be sure to remember the correct spelling of the Crew Member's name and country found on their name tag for better chances of them assigning the right person - here's hoping it isn't a very common name from the same place!
    • It's important to remember that there is no guarantee as to whether they can make this happen, especially considering the multitude of Crew Members across the ships who may be in constant rotation across the entire Disney Cruise Line fleet. (To increase the odds of connecting with the same serving team, frequent cruisers in the past have attempted to inquire with the Crew Members as to their upcoming assignments but this too can never be certain as some may be frequently transferred without warning in the midst of their contract.)

It is so great to hear that you connected with your team and had a great dining experience on board; I certainly hope that you made sure to recognize them specifically and by name (especially in writing) so that they could have this noted on their record! Some of the most incredible servers I've ever met have impressively remembered our preferred drinks of choice and the most minute details like how we liked our sauces served; I think it really would be special if it all works out for you in the end. In the meantime, be sure to come back to planDisney again soon for any other tips and tricks ahead of your voyage next year!

Here's to reconnecting with splendid seafaring servers as you set sail!
