How do we request to have our room close to the parking lot, the bus transportation, pool and resturant if someone is disabled. We are staying at the All Star Movies. Is it possible to have all of these? Do we go through the resort or travel agent.

    Hi Teresa!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

Your best bet would be to request and pay for a preferred room at the All Star Movies.  Those are basically more convenient rooms.  That said, however, some of those preferred rooms will still be closer to a pool than the food court, front desk, etc.  Thus you should also put in a room request.  You can put in a room request through a travel agent if you used an agent to book the room in the first place; you can also just contact Disney.  You should also reiterate your room request once you are at Walt Disney World and checking-in.

In your room request, I recommend ranking what is most important to you.  That will give the Disney Cast Member trying to meet your request the maximum flexibility as he or she will understand what is more important to you.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
