Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter and my mind goes directly to the fresh, made to order beignets! There is nothing like snacking on Mickey shaped beignets covered in powdered sugar. Plan at least one visit to
Scat Cat's Club Cafe near the entrance of the resort where you can indulge in this fabulous treat!
Chrissy, you are in luck as all rooms at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels have an in-room coffee maker. At your French Quarter room, you will find a Cuisinart coffee maker, complete with complimentary coffee pods, creamer, sugar, and coffee cups with lids. If you need additional coffee supplies during your stay, give a ring to Mousekeeping and they will be happy to restock your supply.
If you prefer, coffee is available for purchase at the
Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory. If you plan on enjoying several cups of coffee and/or soft drinks during your stay, you might want to purchase a refillable resort mug. This will give you free refills of your favorite beverages during your stay at any Disney Resort hotel drink station.
Disney Springs is just a boat ride away, so if time allows take a cruise on the water taxi to this shopping and dining destination! Just head to the boat dock on the Sassagoula River (just past the swimming pool) and enjoy your cruise to Disney Springs.
