Hello there Erica! Welcome to planDisney, thanks for bringing your question here today.
Disney Vacation Club Resorts include many different types of accommodations to fit all sizes of travel parties from a Tower studio for 2 at
Disney’s Riviera Resort to a Treehouse Villa at Disney’s
Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa or even a Grand Villa that sleeps twelve at
Disney’s Old Key West Resort. Not only do the
Villas come in a variety of sizes but they all bring the comforts of a vacation home by means of a kitchen/kitchenette. My family prefers to make breakfast in our Villa so we can eat quickly and start a magic-filled day!
I spoke with
Member Services today about your question and learned that unfortunately, Housekeeping is unable to process a request to have real plates and bowls in a Deluxe Studio. The Studios are not equipped with a dishwasher therefore the switchover to the next guests would be more complicated with having to transport dishes. I was told that if ever you do require more paper plates and bowls, you can contact Housekeeping by pressing the button on the phone in your Studio and they will happily replace them.
My family has often driven to
Walt Disney World Resort and have had room to pack a plastic plate, bowl and utensils for everyone. Each Studio comes with a sponge, dish towel and dish soap so we opted to reuse our dishes. We like to use reusable water bottles so we end up doing a few dishes anyway!
Erica, I hope this information is helpful to your vacation planning. If you have any other Disney Vacation Club or planning questions, please visit
