The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration! The magical touches sprinkled all around Walt Disney World are sure to make your vacation even more fabulous than you can imagine!
Speaking of magical touches, I’m so pleased to hear you’ll be staying at one of the incredible
Disney Resort Collection Hotels. What a perfect way to be immersed in that famous Disney magic from the moment you arrive! Now, to make a room request, you’ll need to give the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations team a call at (407) 939-1936. The fabulous Cast Members on this team will happily note your request on your reservation. However, since it is all based on availability, there is no guarantee they will be able to accommodate the request. But they will do their best, and it certainly never hurts to try! When making your request, I recommend asking for an upper floor and a room away from the elevators. I find that these tend to be most quiet as there is less foot traffic outside the room.
During your visit, be sure to keep an eye out for the golden sculptures of your favorite Characters located all around the parks as a part of the
Disney Fab 50 Character Collection. You can also make a fun little game out of it with your family as you walk around! Have your group keep track and see who can be the first to spot all 50 characters! Whoever wins gets a Mickey bar! A little friendly competition is always fun, don't you think?
