Hi Craig,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question, which is bringing back warm memories of my son’s first Walt Disney World vacation! Every night, we would put him down to sleep, positive he would be completely exhausted from his magical day, and every night we would find him standing in the Pack n’ Play clutching his beloved plush Sorcerer Mickey, ready to get back to the fun! We still laugh at that memory all the time.
To
request a Pack n’ Play playard, I recommend calling Walt Disney World Reservations at (407) 939-1936 and adding the request to your resort reservation. Pack n’ Play availability is not guaranteed, so I always like to make the request with lots of notice. You may also wait and request the Pack n’ Play when you arrive at your resort, either by asking at the front desk during check-in, or dialing Mousekeeping on your resort room’s telephone. The Pack n’ Play will come with the appropriate sized sheets, so you’ll just need to worry about special comfort items like blankets, lovies, and pacifiers – whatever is needed for that good night’s sleep!
Craig, did you know that Walt Disney World Resort has Baby Care Centers in all four theme parks? These are nice, quiet spots where you can feed your little one and take care of any other baby-related needs. Be sure to check out
these great tips from my fellow Moms Panelists for visiting Walt Disney World with infants, which cover everything from being prepared to discovering the attractions, shows, and spots your baby will absolutely love!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
