How do I request a minnie van? And do I need to know the exact number of passengers, or is the price the same either way? How far in advance should I do this?

Thank you for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Dana! I’m glad you’re hEAR! I just took my first family trip in a Minnie Van this week and I adored the personal service!

When I checked into my Walt Disney World Resort Deluxe Hotel (at the moment, moderate and value Resorts are not being served due to a growing fleet!), the concierge and Front Desk Cast Member was able to take my phone number and enter a code in my LYFT app (no special downloads needed) to bring about the Minnie Van option. I simply called the van about 10 minutes before I needed it, and it arrived just a regular LYFT hire would right to my Resort Hotel front door. The $20 hire price is always the same, whether you are going from Disney’s Yacht Club Resort to the Beach Club next door, or taking the long haul, as I did, from Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort to the front door of Magic Kingdom (no visit to the TTC!). Up to 6 Guests can fit in each Minnie Van, which come equipped with 2 convertible child safety seats for your use! If you have more than 6 guests needing a ride, you’ll have to have another person in your party call a separate van, but there is no need to “call ahead” by hours or days. Simply pull up your app as you are leaving your Resort Hotel room or have passed outside the touchpoints of a Theme Park. You’ll then be able to call the Minnie Van to your service.

I loved the courteous, swift and super squeaky clean service of the Minnie Van. Our driver was a magical as Genie as we zipped and zoomed across the World and I could even charge my phone with the available cords. If I can help you any further, just let me know. You ain’t never had a friend like me! ~ Lindsey P.
