How to request a microwave in your room?

    Hiya Rachael,

Welcome to planDisney! Can you believe that you will soon be at Walt Disney World Resort? The fall is such a lovely time to visit, especially with the EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival and the spooky season in full swing. I’ve always been a fan of the yummy bites this time of year, so I’ve been scouring the foodie guides for what I want to enjoy during my next visit.

Great news, Rachael! I reached out to a Cast Member, and they mentioned that you can request a microwave when you check in to your resort hotel at the Front Desk or by dialing Guest Services when you arrive. There are no guarantees that Cast Members will be able to accommodate the request, as they are subject to availability. However, if they can do so, they will do so. If they are not able to accommodate your request, you can typically find a microwave in the quick-service dining location at your resort hotel. I know it isn’t the same as having one in your room, but it is a great alternative!

I hope this is helpful, Rachael. Before I let you go, I know I mentioned the foodie guides earlier, so I wanted to share them with you in case you haven’t gotten a chance to take a peek (Food and Wine Festival and Halloween Guide). I love to peruse them before my trips so I can make sure not to miss out on any must-trys during my visits. Currently, I’m eyeing the Red Wine-Braised Beef Short Rib and the Pineapple Cheesecake! Please come back and see us if you need anything else.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
