Can I request a microwave to be placed in our room at the Grand California?

Hi there, Trixy! Welcome to planDisney!

You are going to love a stay at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa! The Craftsman-style architecture and design give this hotel a feeling of grandeur while also being inviting and cozy. I just love stepping into that awe-inspiring lobby, especially after a busy park day. I'm happy to report that microwaves are available in the vending area on each floor. While they cannot be requested for your individual room, hopefully, you will find these to be convenient and easy to use! What you will find in the room is a mini-refrigerator for anything you need to keep cool and a Keurig Coffee Maker for a little burst of magic ahead of your Early Entry into the parks!

Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is home to some of the very best dining locations at the Disneyland Resort. While I have yet to visit Napa Rose, it is at the very top of my list as a must-do for our next trip! I've heard it's as delicious as it is elegant and perfect for celebrating special occasions. Storytellers Cafe is one of my favorite spots for lunch. I love taking a break from the parks here to escape the California sun and get a little rest and reset. If you head there for breakfast, you'll get to eat Mickey waffles with the big guy himself at Mickey's Tales of Adventure Breakfast! If you're looking for a light bite or a cocktail, head to Hearthstone Lounge and cozy up to the fireplace, and try one of their seasonal offerings! They always have fun cocktails to choose from and you can't beat the atmosphere!

While you're exploring the hotel, you might want to take a quick peek into the Tenaya Stone Spa. Inspired by California's landscape, this serene spot offers a wide range of spa services and is a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of the park scene. It's a great place to rest and gear up for another fun park day ahead!

Trixy, I hope this was helpful! I always like to take our arrival day to just explore our hotel without too many plans on the agenda. Head to the pool, maybe have a dining reservation for later in the day, but truly just soak it all in! If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney

    Magic awaits!
