How do I request Disney World information mailed to me?

    Heigh-ho, Melody. Welcome to planDisney.

When I first started visiting Walt Disney World, I remember the joy of receiving a packet in the mail (or as we'd say in England, "a parcel in the post") from Disney that included a brochure and a DVD. There was something so exciting about having something tangible in your hands that you could help you start planning your vacation. However, times have changed and Disney does not currently mail out information or brochures to Guests. This is largely due to their commitment to reducing waste and caring for the environment. Therefore, information for Walt Disney World Resort will need to be accessed digitally.

If you are hoping to plan a vacation, Melody, then I have many suggestions for you. A good place to start is the Vacation Planning page on The Walt Disney World website. The website also has bountiful information on the immersive Disney Resorts Collection hotels, the fabulous dining options, and the magical Theme Parks and destinations. If you'd like to look at (and even print out) Theme Park maps, then those are available for Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. If you'd like to stay up to date on what's happening around Walt Disney World, then Disney Parks Blog is a great place to frequent.

I should also mention the planDisney website too. Not only will you find expert information from some of the finest Disney Guests on the planet (and I'm not just saying that because they're my good friends), you can also find really handy Pocket Guides to the Disney Resorts and general tips and suggestions for your visit.

One more suggestion: my planDisney friend, Ashley, gave me the idea of watching some of the brilliant shows on Disney+. If you'd like to learn more about the Parks, then shows like "Behind the Attraction," "The Magic of Disney's Animal Kingdom," and my personal favorite, "The Imagineering Story" will give you a greater appreciation for the magic of Walt Disney World and increase the magic of your next visit.

I hope those suggestions provide you with plenty of exciting planning hours, Melody. The anticipation of a Walt Disney World vacation is a big part of the fun. Please stop by planDisney again if we can help answer questions or provide recommendations.

    ChEARS,
    Mike
