How do I request a DAS appointment prior to my visit?

    Hi there, Arianna,

My family and I have found that the Disneyland Resort is very accommodating for Guests with disabilities. There are many different accommodations for Guests with different needs. Guests who may have difficulty tolerating a traditional attraction queue may benefit from the Disability Access Service (DAS).

Registration for DAS is done during an interview between the Guest requesting accommodations and a Guest Relations Cast Member. A parent or Guardian may also need to be with the Guest. The interview may be performed in person at any of the Guest Relations locations throughout the theme parks.

Guests who would like to arrange for a DAS registration interview before visiting the Disneyland Resort may do so online between two and 30 days before arrival. Here are the steps to request video chat pre-arrival registration:

    • Purchase theme park admission.
    • Book a theme park reservation. This is typically done during the theme park ticket purchase process.
    • Visit the Disneyland Resort website and log in to the account used for booking the park reservations.
    • Using a computer or device with a camera, visit the DAS planning and pre-arrival registration page between the hours of 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM Pacific Time.
    • Accept the terms and conditions from the link on that page.
    • Return to the DAS registration page and click the “Request Live Chat” link to enter the virtual queue to speak with a Cast Member.

Interest in DAS pre-registration can be high some days. So I recommend setting aside a few hours for the process in case there is a significant wait in the virtual queue. The main Guest Relations locations near the park entrances tend to be relatively busy. So if you choose to register for DAS in person, I recommend visiting one of the satellite locations further away from the park entrance.

Tony’s Tip: My family has enjoyed even greater doses of magic using the Disney Genie+ service along with DAS. We have found that it offers even more flexibility and opportunities to reserve wait times when we use both services. That is especially the case when we can book Lightning Lane return times using Genie+ while park hopping. (DAS can only be used to book a return in the current park.) And it’s great when we happen to be able to have multiple Genie+ return times booked at the same time. (DAS only allows up to one return time to be booked at any given time.)

I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Arianna. Please visit us at planDisney again if you have any more questions before your visit.

    ~Tony
