Hi John, welcome home and welcome to planDisney! You’ve come to the right place! As a father of two toddler princesses, I’ve had many
Disney Vacation Club villa stays where we’ve needed extra amenities to make our stays more manageable. So let’s talk about how we can request these items!
In order to request a crib and a high chair for your DVC villa, you’ll want to
contact Member Services. DVC Cast Members will add the request to your reservation. Note that these items aren’t always guaranteed and are subject to availability. In case the items are not in your villa when you check in, just give a call over to
housekeeping and they’ll gladly deliver them to you. In addition, some DVC Resorts will offer pack-and-play in lieu of a crib. You’ll be happy to know that they also provide crib sheets.
Here’s a bonus tip! In addition to these items, you can also request bed bumpers and a step stool (also subject to availability). My daughters have since graduated from cribs and love sleeping on the pull-down Murphy beds. Having bed bumpers gives that added assurance that they’ll be able to sleep safely. You may also want to consider bringing a white noise machine to help drown out any fireworks, that always helps my daughters when we’re tucking them in after a long day in the parks!
John, I hope you have a magical trip and if you have any further questions, please feel free to
reach out to me and my fellow panelists here at planDisney!
Your pal,
Sean
